Questions we're asked

Do I need a licence?

No. Associates introduce clients and nothing more. BCJL delivers all the advisory work and agrees fees directly with the client.

Can I keep my current job?

Yes, provided your employment or agency contract allows you to make introductions to another firm. If you're tied to an insurer, a bank or another firm, check your contract before you apply. We'll ask you to confirm this.

What stops someone else claiming my client?

You register each business in the portal before you introduce it. The first registration is recorded with a date and time, and it's protected under the terms of the agreement.

Does the client pay more because of me?

No. Your commission comes out of BCJL's fee. It doesn't add to what the client pays.

Where do I need to be based?

Anywhere in Jamaica. Associates in the diaspora with strong links to Jamaican businesses are also welcome to apply.

Apply

Tell us about yourself and the businesses you know. We read every application and reply by email, usually within a week.

We take on a small number of associates at a time, so we can support each one properly.

Are you tied to an insurer, bank or other firm that restricts the introductions you can make?

We use your details only to assess your application. Bromoda Capital Jamaica Limited does not lend, deal in securities or give investment advice.
